Alteryx is searching for a Sr. Data & Analytics Analyst. This position is remote-friendly.



Position Overview:



As a Sr Data & Analytics Analyst, you will be part of an innovative and business critical team, primarily responsible for scoping, analyzing, capturing, and translating business requirements for technical delivery. You will work closely with the Data & Analytics teams along with business leaders in GTM, Finance, Product, and IT to identify the most impactful opportunities that drive business outcomes. Success in this role is critical to our Data & Analytics strategy and drives our commitment to becoming a world-class data team, fostering Alteryx's data journey!



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Forge strong relationships with business leaders across GTM, Finance, Product, and IT to understand the pulse of the business, pain points, and identify opportunities to drive data-driven decision making.


  • Work closely with our Finance and Data Engineering teams to lead end of period financial reporting (analysis, validation, issue resolution coordination).


  • Lead our Data Quality Management System (DQMS) efforts (scope, define) to uphold the integrity and confidence of our most critical KPIs and data pipelines.


  • Strategically support and shepherd (intake, wireframe, coordinate) GTM, Data Science, and Enterprise Applications in the delivery and execution of our Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA) strategy.


  • Support our enterprise analytics cataloging efforts by ensuring our most critical enterprise analytics assets are centrally defined and maintained.


  • Use your innate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and internal drive to continually grow, develop, and hone your craft.

Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of experience in a senior/lead/primary analyst role supporting Data & Analytics functions, serving as the primary conduit between the business and delivery teams.


  • Expert ability in translating business requirements into succinct technical specifications for handoff to delivery teams (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analytics Developers).


  • Proficiency in wireframing (reports, dashboards) and process flow diagrams for analytics solutions.


  • Operational experience supporting Data & Analytics initiatives built atop Salesforce, including Salesforce application understanding.


  • Comfortable interfacing and forging strong relationships with all levels of the business in a primarily remote role.


  • Comprehension of SDLC in the Data & Analytics space.


  • Intermediate SQL experience.


  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work autonomously, and unrelenting attention to detail.


  • BA/BS degree in Information Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field.



Valued Skills:



  • Alteryx Designer certification.


  • Tableau and/or Salesforce CRM Analytics dashboard design and development exposure.


  • Working experience with Lucidchart or similar tool.


  • Experience with Snowflake syntax for query writing and execution.


  • Experience working in Jira or similar tool for sprint management.





Compensation:



Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.


The salary range for this role in the United States is $126,700 - $145,700.


In addition, you may be eligible for additional compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
