As a Digital Manufacturing Sr. Manager - MES, you'll be a key member of the Digital Manufacturing team supporting the KCNA manufacturing sites. You'll lead a virtual team of professionals responsible for the administration, improvement, and evolution of the SMOM system within our manufacturing sites.

Build capability within the team and organization to improve system effectiveness, delivery, and functionality.

You'll also provide a high level of technical expertise and consulting on SMOM and business processes associated from conception to the manufacturing floor, understanding the end-to-end impacts of the system and its connections. Also, assist in establishing standards for the plant and staff teams.

Perform leading-edge work and develop innovative approaches/solutions. This role is viewed as an expert in complex application environments, encompassing both business process understanding and technical expertise.

In this role, you will:


  • Serve as a KCNA SMOM SME; provide high level of support partnering with cross-functional business partners, DTS and manufacturing teams to drive system and business processes improvements.


  • Provide direct leadership and advanced problem-solving support to the SMOM System Administration team responsible for executing tasks, managing changes, problem solving, and release management within SMOM


  • Solve complex operational, systems-related and customer issues to ensure SMOM success through system improvement and sustainability.


  • Partner with DTS to define business requirements for DTS solutions; perform user acceptance testing, conduct computer system validation, lead complex changes, and develop relevant training material.


  • Improve overall user acceptance / system adoption of SMOM and associated systems by developing and executing strategies to address areas of concern.


  • Provide support for developing and implementing plans and programs for sustaining the long term growth of SMOM to meet sector objectives.

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Supply Chain or a related field from an accredited college or university


  • Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience


  • Must be willing to travel approximately 30%


  • Previously demonstrated ability to successfully lead the execution of a regional, or functional strategic initiative with proven business results.


  • Solid manufacturing and supply chain business process knowledge and business acumen


  • Exceptional ability to extract, distill, communicate, and teach complex business processes and requirements to all levels of the organization.


  • Solid interpersonal and communications skills to motivate, coach, lead, and influence a diverse group of team members at all levels of the organization.


  • Ability to adapt to changes in a highly dynamic and developing Kimberly-Clark domain.


  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (i.e. GE Plant Apps, OSI PI Historian, etc.) and manufacturing operations based IT solutions


  • Possess or demonstrate the ability to learn SAP ERP activities.


  • Ability to lead a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones.


  • Advanced analytical skills


Preferred:

  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification and/or CI/Lean Experience
