As the Procurement Strategy and Project Lead, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the procurement organization by driving the execution of 2024-2026 procurement strategy and leading process improvement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Center of Excellence (CoE) Senior Director and working closely with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), the incumbent will be responsible for developing innovative solutions to enhance procurement processes, support the organization to identify savings opportunities, manage strategic projects and resolve complex issues, delivering key strategic objectives and enhancing the procurement function.

In this role, you will:

Procurement Strategy Execution


  • Implement procurement strategy in support of PLT and CPO


  • Monitor and report on strategic initiatives


  • Drive continuous improvement aligned with business goals


  • Solid partnership with the Segment leadership and understanding of gaps and opportunities to ensure Procurement can deliver as expected


Process Improvement


  • Optimize procurement processes for efficiency and cost reduction


  • Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on improvement objectives and progress, communicating effectively with sponsors, project teams and other stakeholders.


  • Identify improvement areas and apply best practices


  • Establish KPIs for accountability and effectiveness


Team Leadership and Project Management


  • Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely results


  • Develop Project plans and ensure resources allocation


  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve objectives


  • Develop junior team members with best in class coaching and mentoring on a formal and informal basis.

Required:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field.


  • 10+ years of related experience in understanding of procurement processes, strategy, best practices, and continuous improvement.


  • Proven experience in managing complex projects while delivering results against set expectations, timelines, budgets, etc.


  • Experience in executing strategic agenda & programs


  • Effective, consistent global communications and stakeholder management skills


  • Ability to work independently


  • Must be able to effectively influence at multiple levels in the organization to drive sound decision making without authority.


  • Occasional travel may be required to support the business (up to 25%)
