Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's financial obligations and ensuring that all payments are processed accurately and on time. You will play a key role in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring proper documentation, and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Process vendor invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies as they arise.

  • Ensure all payments are properly coded to the general ledger.

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, including wire transfers and ACH.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.

  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.

  • Assist with month-end closing and accruals for accounts payable.

  • Review and audit expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policy.

  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts payable.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, but not required).

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel.

Pay: $25 - $30 per hr.
