The Manufacturing Engineer provides engineering support for manufacturing planning, new process development, and new product design. Also, they will assist on the shop floor with troubleshooting product and processing problems.

What you will do:

• Read and interpret drawings
• Troubleshoot day-to-day process issues, develop solutions, and monitor improvements
• Lead in the determination of root cause
• Generate drawings, tool orders, and work instructions as needed to support manufacturing
• Specify tooling and process parameters for the manufacture of products
• Design fixtures, tools, and gauges and have them built
• Occasional use of hand and power tools
• Ability to travel as needed
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field required and/or equivalent years of experience
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Troubleshooting experience/ability
• Ability to use standard shop floor inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and indicator gauges
• Working knowledge in electronic circuitry and design
• Ability to use Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
• Lean manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
