Chegg is looking for an on-site Tax Analyst to join its team. This position will be responsible for a wide range of federal, multi-state, and international income tax functions, including tax compliance, tax credits and incentives, and tax provision. This position reports to the Senior Tax Manager.
The Responsibilities
Preparation of quarterly consolidated tax provision/memos
Preparation of quarterly estimated federal, state income and franchise tax payments
Gathering information for the federal consolidated tax return and corresponding state income tax returns
Review of state income and franchise tax returns
General federal, state and international tax research as needed
Assistance with the reports and analysis for the quarterly consolidated tax provision
Assistance with federal and state notices and audit responses
Assist the international tax team with cross-border tax issues, including but not limited to VAT/GST compliance
Assistance with tax mail handling and processing
Provide support on corporate tax projects: i.e. research and development credit computations and surveys
Provide support on cross-department ad hoc projects
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant tax experience in Big 4, and/or equivalent industry experience
BA/BS in accounting, finance, or business administration
CPA desired but not required
Superior Microsoft Excel skills, NetSuite experience a plus
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize simultaneously
Ability to expand knowledge and understand and integrate business objectives with tax strategies
Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team yet function well with independent responsibilities
The pay range for this position is $ 81,885 to $152,07. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
