Responsibilities:
Maintain work papers for IRS Form 990T and 1120 filings, including unrelated business activities and indirect overhead allocation.
Prepare supporting work papers for business income tax filings (federal and state), including apportionment worksheets and tax models.
Request and gather internal information from various departments across the company.
Coordinate tax forecasting efforts and maintain Excel schedules.
Stay informed about changes in corporate income tax forms, tax apportionment concepts, and accounting for income taxes.
Review income tax forms prepared by external advisors, ensuring form requirements are met.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting or related
4+ years of tax accounting experience; experience within professional services or non-profit sector highly preferred
Experience or working knowledge of IRS Form 990T, Form 1120, and relevant concepts.
Advanced Excel skills
