Introduction to Role:


Join our team at Alexion as a Senior Manager, Clinical Supply Management. This role is pivotal in achieving Alexion's clinical and company goals. As a Senior Manager, you will provide expertise as a pharmacist authoring pharmacy manuals and assisting with dose preparation and administration questions related to combination products. You will also manage clinical supply activities to support Alexion-sponsored clinical studies.


Accountabilities:


In this role, you will author pharmacy manuals, initiate process improvements within the Pharmacy Team, and collaborate with other collaborators during pharmacy manual creation and updates. You will be the primary point of contact for any Investigational Medicinal products (IMP) related inquiries received from sites participating in Alexion clinical studies. You will also develop admixture, dosing, administration, and blinding strategies for complex biologic products as well as small molecules in early phases of development.


Essential Skills/Experience:


- PharmD with prior hospital or investigational drug service experience and prior GCP training.


- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry with hands-on experience authoring pharmacy manuals.


- Excellent communication skills and ability to foster, grow and maintain collaborative relationships effectively with key internal and external collaborators.


- Thorough knowledge and understanding of cGMP, ICH/cGXP guidelines and global Health Authority requirements.


- Proficiency in computer software such as Excel, Power Point and MS Project.


- Experience with regulatory submissions.


- Experience with gene therapy products.


- Experience with prior clinical supply manager support.
