Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent - Municipal Projects
Location: Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 per year
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee municipal construction projects in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale municipal projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and change orders.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a focus on municipal projects.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSHA, PMP, or LEED are a plus.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
