About the Role: As an Information Security Analyst, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Information Security Analysis. You will review and analyze multi-faceted, large-scale, or long-term challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented elements. You will contribute to resolving complex situations requiring a solid understanding of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Strategic collaboration and consultation with client personnel are key aspects of this role.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as an analyst in executing risk management control for infrastructure vulnerability zero-day rated vulnerabilities.

  • Take daily direction from the control lead and overarching direction from the hiring manager.

  • Perform advanced data filtering, grouping, and analysis using Excel, including pivot tables and other data analysis techniques.

  • Open incident tickets to remediation owners, ensure timely fixes, escalate overdue vulnerabilities, and proactively follow up until closure.

  • Retain evidence and artifacts demonstrating quality execution for audit and control reviews.

  • Support timely completion of all risk management reviews with a goal of zero audit findings and effective control execution.

  • Collaborate with team members to execute controls in a collaborative teamwork fashion.

  • Identify and lead improvements to control execution, technology, and procedures.

  • Craft communications and reports providing transparency into progress and insights into problems or actions needed.

  • Develop an understanding of incoming work, identify affected parties, and communicate actions concisely.

  • Work with remediation owners and their leadership to provide guidance on required actions.

  • Track deliverables until completion, escalating when necessary.

  • Support the Information Security program in governing vulnerability remediation across the organization.

  • Consult with lines of business on consistent implementation of the enterprise information security model and solutions to remediate risks.

  • Ensure timely and effective management of risks to all information assets.

  • Ensure information security capabilities are included in all aspects of the company's technology architecture.

  • Proactively manage the information security risk profile of business information assets throughout their lifecycle.

  • Pursue necessary training and stay abreast of regulatory and compliance issues.

  • Engage with all levels of professionals and managers companywide, serving as an experienced advisor to leadership.

Required Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.

  • 2+ years of advanced Excel data analysis experience, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, data concatenation and splitting, pattern matching, and rapid analysis of large data sets.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Strong attention to detail, recognizing this is a heavily audited enterprise risk management control.

  • Prior audit or risk management experience.

  • Experience in governance, policy, compliance, and risk management practices.

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrixed environment and build effective business partnerships.

  • Ability to facilitate and lead meetings to reach conclusions, identify tasks, record actions, and achieve results.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Experience using SharePoint and Jira.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology.
