CohnReznick is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure, Data, and Operations Leader to drive the implementation and execution of technology strategies developed by the Chief Information Officer (CIO). Reporting directly to the CIO, this individual will be responsible for translating strategic visions into actionable plans, overseeing day-to-day technology operations, and ensuring the successful delivery of key technology initiatives that support CohnReznick's business objectives and growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the technological transformation of a leading professional services firm and make a significant impact on its continued success!


This is a hybrid position that can be based in any of our U.S. offices. Up to 25 percent travel may be required. Travel is defined as time spent at offices beyond the employee's primary office.

YOUR ROLE



The key responsibilities for this role include:



  • Strategy Implementation:

    • Work closely with the CIO to understand and refine technology, data, and cloud strategies.

    • Translate CIO-driven strategies into detailed implementation plans and roadmaps.

    • Lead the execution of strategic technology initiatives across the organization.




  • Enterprise Architecture Implementation:

    • Implement and maintain the enterprise architecture framework as defined by the CIO.

    • Execute application rationalization efforts and manage technology debt reduction plans.

    • Implement target state roadmaps aligned with strategic business plans.




  • Engineering and Operations:

    • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CohnReznick's computing environment.

    • Lead and mentor engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable technology solutions.

    • Implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.




  • Data Strategy Execution:

    • Implement the holistic data strategy developed by the CIO.

    • Execute data governance frameworks and data management practices.

    • Lead initiatives to improve data quality, accessibility, and security.




  • DevSecOps, CI/CD, and SRE:

    • Implement and optimize DevSecOps practices to improve software delivery and operational efficiency.

    • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software deployment and ensure quality.

    • Incorporate Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to enhance system reliability and performance.




  • Cloud Technology Implementation:

    • Execute the firm's cloud strategy as defined by the CIO.

    • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

    • Lead cloud-native application development and modernization efforts.




  • Network Design and Implementation:

    • Implement robust, scalable network infrastructure based on CIO-approved designs.

    • Lead the adoption of SD-WAN technologies to improve network performance and flexibility.

    • Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.




  • Holistic Monitoring:

    • Implement a comprehensive monitoring strategy across all technology domains.

    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for technology services.

    • Deploy and manage proactive monitoring tools to ensure optimal system performance and availability.




  • ITSM/ITIL Implementation:

    • Execute the implementation of ITSM/ITIL frameworks for IT service delivery.

    • Establish and maintain IT service catalogs, incident management processes, and continuous improvement practices.

    • Align IT services with business needs and industry best practices.




  • Leadership and Talent Development:

    • Provide strong leadership to develop, coach, and ensure a high-performance technology team.

    • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence within the technology organization.

    • Develop and retain organizational talent with a focus on diversity/inclusion, competitive skill sets, and succession planning.




  • Year One Critical Success Factors:

    • Successfully implement key components of the CIO's comprehensive technology strategy.

    • Establish and operationalize the enterprise architecture function based on CIO directives.

    • Achieve significant milestones in the CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud computing implementation roadmap.

    • Execute initial phases of the CIO's data strategy and management approach.

    • Complete the first stage of SD-WAN technology adoption and network modernization.

    • Implement and optimize the comprehensive monitoring strategy across all technology domains.

    • Successfully roll out ITSM/ITIL frameworks for improved IT service delivery.

    • Build strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth strategy implementation.

    • Optimize the technology organization's structure and talent pool to effectively deliver on strategic initiatives.

    • Demonstrate measurable improvements in operational efficiency, system reliability, and service delivery.




YOUR EXPERIENCE




The successful candidate will have:



  • 12+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of implementing large-scale technology initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MS in Technology Management) strongly preferred.

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP, ITIL) are a plus.

  • Strong background in translating high-level strategies into actionable implementation plans.

  • Extensive experience in enterprise architecture implementation, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.

  • Expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD, and SRE principles and their practical application in large organizations.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing data management and governance frameworks.

  • Experience with network implementation, including SD-WAN technologies.

  • Proficiency in ITSM/ITIL framework implementation in complex environments.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and their integration into technology solutions.

  • Experience working in professional services or similar client-focused industries.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing technology teams.
