Job Description:

Responsible for upholding the highest standards of operations efficiency and compliance across our stores. Primary role will involve optimizing processes and procedures, along with closely monitoring and reporting compliance issues. As part of the operations, this role will be cross trained in multiple areas of the department and be utilized for support when needed. - High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to collaborate and work cooperatively in a team-based environment
- Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures and organizational structure
- Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
- Ability to work weekends and travel independently
- Proficient knowledge of financial statements and budgets
- Ability to find new avenues of approaching tasks
- Ability to accept new business challenges
- Ability to be resourceful with systems and information available
- Ability to delve into new areas outside of ones comfort level

Desired
- Associate Degree
- Extensive knowledge of jewelry store processes and procedures
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, MapPoint, Visio, or like applications
- Thorough knowledge of the technology used in the store- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Act in a supporting role for stores, following up on the procedures of both Fred Meyer Jewelers and Fred Meyer stores
- Provide timely coaching, guidance, and feedback to help others excel on the job, meet key accountabilities, and strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem
- Assist with administration of company policies and procedures
- Monitor the results of assignments or projects
- Maintain open communication with merchandising, distribution, and operations personnel
- Provide regular written updates and present to management on current procedure initiatives
- Attend meetings as required
- Assist in supporting departmental policies and procedures
