Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd., has an opportunity available for an VP, Wholesale Distribution with responsibility for the Central Region.
The mission of the Distribution team is to enable the underwriting teams to be more effective, more efficient, and more connected with our trading partners and to deliver the quotable opportunities that we want to write while utilizing our relationships and influence to help bind the business we quote. Our goal is to build a world class distribution platform that will serve to strengthen the brand and support profitable topline growth. This position is hybrid and can be based in our Chicago or Texas offices. Fully remote candidates may also be considered.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Work with Underwriting team to align Everest structure with how Wholesale brokers go to market
E&S Vertical Structure
Centered around core business segments
Focused on specialization and expertise
Ensure market trends are well understood
Increase knowledge of how key Wholesale trading partners go to market
Profile key local offices
Develop relationship map of key producers
Drive engagement that deepens local relationships with appropriate producers
Use Wholesale broker and internal data to identify under penetrated offices
Provide regular broker performance updates
Internally with Regional Leaders and Wholesale Management team
Externally with brokers to review performance
Support Quarterly broker reviews to ensure alignment on mutual business / growth objectives
Monitor broker metrics and drivers of performance variance against expectations
Collect and share broker intelligence detail for key Wholesale brokers to accurately align growth opportunities
Production Focus:
Development of National broker growth goals & Regional allocations
Facilitation of quarterly Wholesale production updates and insights relative to broker trends for UW Leadership.
Monitor and assess regional and national progression towards stated goals.
Facilitation of quarterly broker reviews with key national partners at top brokers.
REGIONAL
Regional broker growth goals and local strategic planning key offices
Execution of production goals for Wholesale business within dedicated region.
Increase wallet share with each key office in region by .5 pts.
Development of Regional reporting infrastructure, and facilitation of monthly regional production reviews.
Conduct quarterly broker reviews with key offices and monitor progression towards plan.
Engage in national broker reviews and production accountability as assigned.
