The Accounting Supervisor will manage consolidated close and financial statement preparation for the organization. They will also manage a team of professional accountants and report to the Accounting Manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
Manage consolidations and consolidated close across all business units
Develop and grow a small team of professional accountants, including hiring and ongoing evaluation/leadership
Prepare month end, quarter end, and year end close financial statements
Supervise and review fixed asset accounting
Oversee sales and use taxes
Participate in software upgrades and enhancements, including implementations
Must haves:
10+ years progressive GL experience, 2+ years supervisory experience required
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related degree required
Strong systems experience, including intermediate Excel skills
Understanding of fixed asset accounting
Sales and use tax experience
