Position Overview:
This position is responsible for responding to technical support requests for business applications. Serves as an escalation point for internal clients experiencing technical issues. Triages support requests, documents, prioritizes and escalates issues to other support analysts when necessary. Diagnoses and resolves incidents based on product knowledge and tracks the resolution of escalated incidents. Reports on recurring issues or patterns and provides recommendations for enhancements or changes to the application as needed or requested. This position offers a hybrid work option 50% remote, and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.


Essential Functions:


  • Provides application support for a variety of software platforms including on premise and cloud solutions.

  • Manages or provides back-up for escalated service desk incidents related to: OnBase Document Management Solutions, SalesForce CRM Application, Sharepoint, Centric and ServiceNow administration.

  • Deploys application releases into production environments.

  • Communicates with team members to resolve technical issues via phone or email.

  • Assists with application quality analysis testing.

  • Follows up with client requests to ensure timely and accurate service.

  • Conducts root cause analysis research of recurring issues and permanent resolution and/or prevention.

  • Establishes and uses application/system monitoring tools to manage and address environment issues in a proactive and timely manner.

  • Assists in creating and maintaining guides, processes and procedures and charts and diagrams utilized in infrastructure and the support services team.

  • Identifies opportunities for end user technology support.

  • Assists developers in application release debugging.

  • Provides solutions input for technology applications based on team member feedback and experience.

  • Researches and completes assigned work on projects which may include design, building, testing against requirements, operational assessment and implementation activities.

  • Oversees the technical application design, construction and implementation of assigned projects.

  • Identifies risks and opportunities throughout the project.

  • Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones and required tasks.

  • Prepares project status reports and communicates project status and related issues.

  • Coordinates with stakeholders and technical teams for successful delivery of technical business solutions.



Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Associate's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. Compeer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

  • Minimum of 3 years functional experience in the information technology field.

  • Working knowledge of SalesForce or other similar CRM applications.

  • Extensive ServiceNow experience as applicable for application subject matter expert.

  • Strong client service experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and business users.

  • Clear understanding of applications development and utilization.

  • Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective organizational, time management and planning skills.

  • Advanced understanding of Internet Explorer and Chrome.

  • Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience supporting remote team members.

  • Experience supporting new development, production support and integration.
