Looking for an energetic Banquet On-Call Server to work in a fast- environment. This Banquet Server is responsible for the quick and efficient delivery of food and drinks for banquets. Must be able to carry and balance heavy trays.
Job Description
Special Qualifications, Education or Licenses:
High school education or equivalent
Must meet city, county, state or other legal minimum age requirements to sell/serve alcoholic beverages
Must have Tips/ServSafe Alcohol Certification
Must have Food Handler Certification
Must speak, read, write and understand English
Must have proven guest relation skills
Essential Elements:
Must be able to balance heavy trays up to 50 lbs. and carry trays with plates up to 25-30 lbs.
Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
Ability to bend, pull, and push
Ability to sustain direct contact with the public; must establish a high degree of customer service, (simile, eye contact, positive personal presentation, etc.,) and high volume of interaction with guests and staff
Flexibility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Tasks:
Serves the guest in a courteous, polite, and efficient manner and maintains the image of fine quality and excellent service at all times.
According to the menu, set up tables with clean linen, folded napkins, china, silverware etc., as shown on provided charts.
Knows the menu items to be served and attends meetings prior to the actual function to clarify any questions he/she may have regarding the timing of food, beverage, and service.
Proceeds with the service as outlined on posted charts and in conjunction with Banquet Captain.
Reports all special requests to the Banquet Captain, or the Banquet Manager, such as substitutes on food, a la cart beverage services, etc.
Performs side duties as requested by the Banquet Captain, and check with supervisor prior to leaving the property.
Is responsible to the Banquet Captain for the proper set-up of each table. Checks to see that all items required for the initial set-up of each table are in place. Assures that all silverware is neatly aligned and that it is clean and unspotted. Crest on glasses faces guest. Make sure all salt and pepper shakers are clean and filled and that sugar packet holders are full, clean and polished.
Refers to any guest complaints to the Banquet Captain, Assistant Banquet Manager, or Banquet and Meeting Manager.
Other job duties as assigned by management.

Pay Range
$11.00 per hour base plus tips and gratuities pay may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
