Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Salary: $52,000.00 USD Hourly - $73,000.00 USD Hourly

Description:
Large manufacturing company is looking for a local Production Supervisor



***CANDIDATES MUST HAVE LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING


***Local candidates only !


Day shift - 8am - 4:30pm M-F


Night Shift - 5pm - 3am M-TH (15% shift differential)


Lots of Overtime available ! !



Responsibilities ~

• Manages the team, schedules, and deadlines.
• Provides material list for each project.
• Provides cost outs for each project.
• Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains documentation of each job, from start to finish.
• Resolves issues or conflicts with Plant Supervisor and/or HR.
• Approves or denies vacation, sick and unpaid leave for employees.
• Writes and present annual performance reviews.



Requirements ~

• Previous Supervisor experience
• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge in use of measurement tools
• Skill in the use and care of equipment and tools
