This hourly role follows the Scotts/Hawthorne step pay progression scale and typically starts at $25.15 per hour and is paid weekly. Scotts/Hawthorne will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
We are looking for an Inventory Group Leader who will grow at our new Distribution Center in Marysville, Ohio.
What you'll do in this role:
Ensure all inbound raw materials are received in.
Ensure inventory is updated daily, and accurate
Coordinates special orders for on time arrival.
Train and enforce operating SOP's/procedures abided by as well as mentor associates
Report material shortages/overages, or issues to the Inventory Supervisor
Ensure a safe and organized work area
Work with vendors to clean up material quality issues
Communicate daily to team
Utilize SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments when required
All other duties as required
What you'll need to be successful:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Bachelors degree preferred
5+ years of Inventory management experience, or manufacturing experience
Strong attention to details
Ability to work well with other associates (teamwork)
Ability to work independently, handle adverse situations and problem solve
Effective communication and time management skills
Strong administrative and planning skills
Maintain high standard of confidentiality and integrity
Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule/hours including overtime and weekends.
High understanding of inventory control.
Basic understanding of Manufacturing, raw materials, distribution, and transportation.
Computer skills including, but not limited to, Google suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
SAP knowledge a plus
Not afraid of heights (40ft in scissor lift)
Can lift up to 50 pounds
