Southwestern Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time Recruiting and Onboarding Assistant to add to our team of professionals.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?


  • Assist in posting positions in HRIS system.

  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for assigned positions.

  • Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit for role for assigned positions.

  • Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.

  • Organize and conduct background checks and other necessary pre-employment screenings based on position requirements.

  • Communicates with new hires throughout the onboarding process to facilitate the process.

  • Leads and facilitates orientation training delivery, as needed, independently executing the training in part or whole.

  • Assists and participates in employment events, including open houses and job fairs.

  • Completes hiring process in the HRIS system.

  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?


  • High School diploma or GED required.  Associates preferred

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Training, or related field preferred.

  •  Previous experience in healthcare a plus.

  • Possess an outgoing, friendly personality and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Prior knowledge of applicant tracking software programs preferred.

  • Attention to detail and highly organized.
