Job Summary (Purpose):

The Financial Analysis & Operations Support Manager is directly responsible for all National Accounts, ACE and multi-location large commercial financial reporting, forecasting and analysis as well as all customer level analysis and modeling. The Manager works with operational, back office, sales and financial staff and decision makers as needed to analyze, review, interpret, forecast and report financial, operating and customer information. Routinely provides analysis and forecasting support used by management to assess situations and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. This position also is responsible for key strategic analysis, capital allocation, and other projects as directed by National Accounts & ACE management. This is the lead financial manager for all business decisions in the National Accounts & ACE organization. This position is hybrid, 3 days a week in the office in King of Prussia, PA.


Key Characteristics:

  • Manages, supervises, coaches and teaches to develop employee’s analytical skills to retain customers and effective analysis that drives proper decision making.
  • Senior level of experience in financial management and operations analysis. Ability to work independently.
  • Highly responsive and motivated with heavy involvement in many aspects of National Account and ACE sales and back office operations as well as field operating practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Financial, Operating and Forecast Reports - Reviews and analyzes results from monthly operating results. Creates presentations, infographics and trend analysis to drive operational behavior and decisions. Prepares frequent earnings forecasts and analysis for review with key decision makers.
  • Collaborates and leads projects with key stakeholders for customers using the scan-based trading platform. Includes analysis of cylinder shrink, distribution processes and proper cost allocation as well as all process audit items.
  • Provides leadership and coaching for the National Account and ACE analysis team.
  • Budget Preparation - Leads in the annual fiscal budget preparation and supports management in this preparation as necessary. Gathers input, prepares alterative scenarios and makes recommendations to decision makers regarding targets and how to achieve them.
  • Capital Management - Works with Project Coordinators, Sales and other staff as needed in managing the level of capital spend, the progress and cost of capital projects. Builds predictive forecast measures and refines economic justification models as needed to effectively analyze all new incremental capital spend.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Communications - Excellent in communicating financial information to management and can work on many initiatives simultaneously.
  • Flexibility - Position has a large amount of analysis on a wide variety of issues resulting in a continuous flow of questions and exchange of information and follow up.
  • Technical - Microsoft Office knowledge is a must. Advanced level MS Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. Knowledge of SAP and BI is required to excel in this role. MS Dynamics 365 knowledge and experience is a plus.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, reporting and forecasting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred.
