Description of Job Role and Responsibilities:



Responsible for meeting revenue and customer satisfaction targets for the assigned region through individual contribution as well as leading the inside parts and contract sales team members:


  • Coaches and trains team members on customer interaction and account management techniques, parts quoting, service contract quoting, and purchase order processing.

  • Addresses daily needs and provides daily direction of inside parts and contract sales team by providing guidance on customer conflict resolution and managing objections, sales tactics, and adherence to processes.

  • Provides input and direction to leadership on forecasting, process improvements, team challenges, team member performance, and organizational issues.

  • Acts as the first line of escalation for inside team/customers on matters of sales/quotes/orders.

  • Continues to act as a working supervisor when and as long as necessary.


Experience and Skills required:



  • Knowledge of parts and parts sales/quoting process

  • Knowledge of or ability to understand service value proposition.

  • Ability and willingness to have difficult customer conversations, manage conflict, and de-escalate emotional situations.

  • Ability and willingness to make cold calls, speak with people at all levels of an organization, deal with technical as well as administrative customers.

  • Ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.

  • Computer literate - expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the ability to learn to use new software.
