Fantastic opportunity for a Staff Accountant role located in the Galleria Area of Houston. This is a direct hire and will be working 100% in office.


Accountant Responsibilities include:


Assisting with monthly closings by preparing journal entries, analyzing, and reconciling balance sheet accounts
Assisting with Accounts Payable
Prepare and post monthly journal entries including accruals and re-classes
Reconcile complex GL, research and resolve discrepancies
Maintain financial security by following internal control procedures
Handle other duties/special projects as assigned


Requirements:


2+ years of General Ledger accounting experience
Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
Intermediate Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups)


Salary Range:


$55-75k based on experience
