As part of our corporate systems team, you will specialize in the development of our intranet site, Publix Connection. As a Senior SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for developing our intranet sites leveraging react to build dynamic user interfaces while optimizing the user experience for our SharePoint Online platform. You thrive in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams and enjoy translating business requirements into technical and creative designs.

Responsibilities:


  • Customize and extend the SharePoint Online experience by using React.JS, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other technologies.

  • Create front-end custom web parts, apps and solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize the user experience using React components for SharePoint Online including PnP libraries.

  • Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, custom forms, and flows to meet business requirements and optimize user experience.

  • Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management.

  • Implement, deploy, package, and maintain the new internal associate portal in SharePoint.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing maintenance of the internal associate portal.

  • Update documentation, processes, and knowledge articles as needed.


 


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer in a large enterprise environment.

  • 5+ years of experience working in current web-based technologies and trends such as HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, or CSS frameworks.

  • 3+ years of SharePoint and web development experience

  • 3+ years of experience publishing and consuming web services or API using XML and/or JSON.

  • 3+ years developing dynamic user interfaces leverage React.


  • 5+ years of experience in Agile System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.

  • 3+ years of experience with application lifecycle management using tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, DevOps, SQL Management Studio and GitHub

  • 3+ years of experience building forms and workflows using SharePoint Online and PowerApps/Power automated flows including using PowerBI.

  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server including writing and executing queries and stored procedures.

  • 3+ years of experience working with .Net (C#), IIS, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint site configuration including building web APIs and services.

  • 3+ years of experience in customizing the SharePoint site or hub navigation and applying styling and theming.

  • 1+ years developing solutions in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) using React.

  • Strong knowledge in creating team sites, hubs, taxonomy, and metadata in SharePoint admin central.

  • Knowledge of configuring Microsoft search in SharePoint, PnP webparts and third-party tools

  • Knowledge of automating the SharePoint online activities using PowerShell scripts
