Job Description:

We're looking for someone with Workday HCM experience , strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a team player who's not afraid to share ideas. Will be responsible for the optimization, support, and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), Workday. Serves as a primary point-of-contact for the following: system questions, troubleshooting, system changes, system configuration, security, upgrades, supporting subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, HRIS reports and HR compliance reporting.


  • Must be a resident of Washington or Oregon.

  • Hiring salary range for this position is $107,000/year to $144,000/year, commensurate with experience and professional qualifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Manage and configure our Workday HCM system, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.

  • Collaborate with HRIS Manager, HR Team, and Finance/Payroll teams to streamline processes and maximize system capabilities.

  • Configuration of security roles and parameters in HRIS and maintain controls and records to assist with audit reviews.


  • Serves as a first level technical point-of-contact for full system functionality and assist the HR and Payroll support teams, 3rd party vendor, and/or subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.

  • Provide training and support to users.

  • Support and configure Workday modules: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Talent/Performance Management, Absence, Time Tracking, Expenses, Reporting, Security, Integrations.

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with employees, customers, vendors.

  • Possess a high level of professionalism and integrity while maintaining the confidentiality of the office and HR data.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Proficient in MS Office suite of applications.

  • Possess analytical aptitude and understanding of programming logic and syntax.

  • Ability to be comfortable with and quickly learn new systems and applications to support business needs (HRIS, Access, etc.).

  • Must have expertise in advanced functions of Microsoft Excel.

  • Must have a core understanding of data structure for quick analysis and breakdown of complex information into easier to understand formats.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • 3 years as an HRIS Analyst (or similar field) in a large, complex environment.

  • Workday HCM experience required.

  • Experience directly configuring two or more of the following Workday modules: HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding, Talent/Performance Management, Absence, Time Tracking, Expenses, Reporting, Security, Integrations.

  • 5-7 years of HRIS system experience preferred.

Pay Range:
$105,112.00 - $157,668.00

Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
