RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team.

Summary:
This team is responsible for building an app that is vital to all of company's success, as they hold the application that manages all of the external traffic (API's) that call all of the apps and systems (distributed service proxy). They have external APIs that come through the program where the program acknowledges it, secures it, make sure it works, then directs it to its proper location. This application is handling 3-4 billion requests per month and is vital to the success of the company. The application itself is built in React/GO and hosted in GCP. Along with managing traffic, this app also has a lot of self-service use such as provisioning, configurations, automation, etc.

At the moment, they have both new feature development on the front end, as well as rebuilding resilient API's on the backend in GO, so they ideally want someone who is strong in both but will look at candidates who are stronger in one over the other (70/30 front end/backend and vice versa). If they are very strong on one end and willing to learn the other, they can also be considered. They need some heavy hitters to come in and contribute immediately, but are open to candidates with 3-4+ years of experience if they are strong and don't require hand-holding. Communication skill is also very important as this team and its apps manage all communication from external API's to the company's systems - there is a large collaboration piece.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-4+ years of GO and/or React experience


• Experience with GCP


• Experienced with CI/CD pipelines


• Experienced writing unit tests


• Strong problem solving ability and team collaboration

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
