JOB DESCRIPTION



Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for day-to-day service delivery and administration of policies, procedures and programs to ensure a well-managed, well-maintained data center or critical environment. Maximum emphasis is placed on system reliability and uptime, and energy efficiency and sustainability of building practices in accordance with the client's requirements and Newmark operating standards.
Responsible for daily communication and interaction with the Client and/or building landlord (where applicable) as it relates to the delivery of building services and meeting the client's expectations.
Ensure that all building services are delivered in accordance with the contract requirements and meet or exceed the approved KPIs.
Execute all building maintenance and management programs related to the overall condition and appearance of the data center or critical environments assuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Administer programs that effectively measure customer satisfaction with internal & external clients and vendors. Address problems or issues with staff providing seamless service to clients and vendors.
Responsible for providing staff members, building tenants and clients with premium customer service.
Manage facilities staff and ensure continuous improvement of building services.


Skills, Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum 7-10 years previous facilities management and data center experience
Professional designation (e.g. CFM or RPM) preferred
Strong leadership and oral and written communication skills
Experience in the preparation of annual operating budgets and review/analysis of monthly financial statements and variance reports
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and take decisive action
Proficient with CMMS, digital control systems and power monitoring equipment


Salary: $120,000 - $125,000 annually

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $125,000 annually. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
