The Technical Sales Coordinator is responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities to fuel the company's growth. This role involves contacting and qualifying potential customers, setting appointments, and following up on leads. The TSC tracks progress towards sales goals and collaborates with the sales team to develop effective strategies for reaching these targets. Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) software, the TSC manages leads and sales activities efficiently. Staying informed about market trends, competition, and industry developments is crucial, as is attending networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads. Regular reporting on sales activities and results to management is a key part of this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company
Contact and qualify potential customers
Set appointments and follow up on leads
Track progress towards meeting sales goals
Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and sales activities
Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service
Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and adaptability to change
A desire to learn and grow in the sales field
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
