Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Project Management Internship in our Fairfield, OH, facility for Spring 2025. This position is on-site, so the ideal candidate must be located in the general area.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Intern to support strategic manufacturing line start-ups at our Fairfield, OH plant. The ideal candidate will support warehouse management, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely project reporting, and drive successful line implementations in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

What will your responsibilities be?


  • Support and coordinate manufacturing pilots, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with project timelines.

  • Support the manufacturing cross functional teams with activities that include standard operating work instructions, equipment qualification, control plans, incoming inspection, and warehouse management.

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ERP (SAP) systems, ensuring data accuracy and system optimization.

  • Drive timely reporting of project milestones, risks, and successes to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges, optimize processes, and ensure successful line implementations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational excellence.

  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills and understanding of manufacturing processes to overcome obstacles and drive continuous improvement.

  • Utilize statistical background to analyze process performance and drive data-driven decision making.

What qualifications will make you successful?

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.

  • Strong interest in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Quick learner with a proactive and self-starting attitude.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus

  • Statistical background is a plus
