Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings.

Due to continued growth, we are in need of a Senior Project Manager to join our team.

The Project Manager is an integral part of our team's success. Our Senior Project Managers, under the supervision of the Director of Supply Chain Optimization, are responsible for delivering best-in-class healthcare solutions that meet our customers’ needs. This role combines project management expertise with a deep understanding of the healthcare domain to drive successful outcomes and maintain positive relationships with customers. 

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple customers facing projects, delivering a variety of services, working with cross divisional functions to drive customer satisfaction. Effective communication to internal and external stakeholders is crucial, as well as demonstrated ability to handle projects and customers with varying complexity.  

Responsibilities:


  • Effectively manage multiple customer projects by providing regular internal updates to key stakeholders which will include adherence to project timelines and milestones, tracking of project progress, identifying potential at risk items with mitigation plans and ensuring project timeline is met.


  • Serve as primary point of contact with internal and external stakeholders, work with various departments to define project requirements, provide status updates, completion of testing and validation, and receiving final approval for implementation.


  • Using appropriate tools and project management methodologies, track and record project performance to ensure all projects are delivered on-time and within defined project scope.


  • Establish and maintain constructive working relationships and keep stakeholders by providing timely feedback of project progress and ensuring the underlying needs of stakeholders are met.


  • Collaborate with functional group team members across Medline to support the execution of customer projects and manage day-to-day questions and concerns


  • Identify process improvement opportunities while utilizing Lean Processing methodologies through the sales structure.  Ensure recommended solutions deliver best in class solutions specific to customer needs.


  • Collaboratively working with the project management team to provide recommendations for process improvement, ensure proper training of new employees on processes, and assist leadership in building effective Project Manager that are able to perform in a fast-paced environment.


  • Coordinate and travel to onsite projects to support program implementation, and/or account go-live.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree


  • 3-5 years of project management or consulting experience.


  • Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders


  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with experience assessing and initiating actions independently.


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)


  • Travel requirement of up to 50%


Preferred Requirements:


  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related program


  • PMP, Six Sigma Lean Certification


  • Healthcare Industry experience


  • Customer facing project management


  • Microsoft Project Operations
