Reporting to the Market Director, as the Store Manager you will ensure that the store operations are compliant with state and local regulations and internally approved standard operating procedures (SOP's). You will be responsible for managing sales performance and identifying sales opportunities by developing overall store strategies and tactics to achieve sales, exceptional guest service and operational performance goals. You will foster a positive culture and work environment while managing and developing top talent and ensuring maximum sales and profitability by focusing on key business initiatives.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
• Oversee store inventory to include audits, physical inventories, proper receiving and destruction.
• Lead teams efficiently and ensure excellence in performance and guest service.
• Oversee all aspects of store employees including hiring, training, development, performance evaluations, and terminations.
• Ensure cash management procedures are being followed including, transacting, opening, closing, depositing, reporting, reconciliation and escalation of discrepancies.
• Maintain the safety and security of all guests and team members.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate all relevant store needs.
• Ensure team focuses on superior guest service and upholds a positive reputation of the company.
• Responsible for reviewing SOP's and assuring that any changes are communicated to employees.
• Regularly analyze and follow up on stores profit KPI's including scheduling and payroll management.
• Support marketing and promotions by ensuring visual excellence through product placement, closing standards, and implementation of seasonal direction.

Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in a leadership position with proven ability to hire, train, and manage teams efficiently while maintaining a focus on process, quality, and guest service
• Excellent guest service, communication and employee relation skills
• Excellent sales reporting skills, experience in inventory management and reconciliation
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business
• Strong attention to detail and high information retention skills
• Ability to lead and motivate a sales-focused team in a fast-paced retail environment• Physical requirements- Ability to walk or maneuver and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day and the ability to lift 30lbs.
• Cross functional collaborator, as well as independently motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks based on the needs of our fast paced industry
• Must be 21 years of age and able to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
• Experience in a heavily regulated environment
• 1+ years' experience working in a regulated cannabis distribution center
• Expert level knowledge of cannabis products
