The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Global HR Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Drives local execution of people priorities for assigned divisions and/or functions and collaborating with HR business partners on critical local issues (staffing, turnover, terminations, restructuring, development)

  • Responsible for US employee relations (e.g., managing employee concerns, performance management, ensuring compliance to local labor relations, etc.)

  • Provides coaching to people leaders and employees to ensure they are supported and that their voices are amplified into the broader Solventum organization

  • Leads and/or participates in the delivery of complex and global change projects in support of business objectives

  • Partners with leaders to execute Organizational design initiatives in alignment with business priorities, portfolio decisions, operating model changes, etc.

  • Provides expertise on strategic workforce planning, including identifying current and anticipated capabilities and aligning the appropriate strategies to address (e.g., internal capability building, external talent acquisition strategies, etc.)

  • Leverages strong project management capability by leading diverse HR projects across multiple disciplines

  • Designs/redesigns HR processes to align to Solventum's operating model and new HR structure (potential, performance, promotion, etc.)

  • Creates and implements employee engagement initiatives to meet specific or nuanced needs within a business or function

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher and 7 years of Human Resources experience

OR
  • High School Diploma/GED or higher and 11 years of Human Resources experience

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Prior employee relations and performance management experience preferred

  • Experience working on diverse complex projects with change management implications

  • Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of change management, including identifying change impacts, creating and implementing mitigation strategies, and measuring change process/success

  • Experience partnering with clients to achieve desired objectives

  • Experience working with Agile methodology

  • Experience with strategic workforce planning

  • Experience designing and/or redesigning global HR processes for efficiency

  • Diverse experience across multiple HR disciplines (plant, business, COEs, etc.)

Work location: Remote

Travel: May include up to 10%
