 Role Summary: 

The Field Service Support will report to the Director of Field Service. The position will be for the support of Field Service across the US. The position requires understanding of concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches for the field service when working with tooling and field service equipment. 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Work with tooling vendors to expedite tooling needs. 
  • Develop and manage blanket orders with tooling vendors. 
  • Manage the tool crib where applicable, setup and maintain tool trailers, and service truck tooling. 
  • Manage tooling obsolescence/retirement. 
  • Responsible for tooling inventory and cost management 
  • Analysis and presentation of tool usage 
  • Coordinate equipment releases with scheduling and operations. 
  • Work closely with Field Service Leaders to ensure appropriate coverage of tools, equipment, and supplies for the execution of all field service. 
  • Assist Fleet Administrator with trailer and vehicle upkeep tasks.
  • Help the fleet administrator with general tasks. That may include picking up new or repaired vehicles from the local dealer. Distributing out pool vehicle keys. 
  • Individuals will be responsible for calibration of tools during the Field Service kickoff meeting. This includes working with multiple vendors to cover all tool needs (manual and power tools). 
  • Travel to other Cooper Machinery Service sites (~5% of the time) 

    Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution 
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in similar role 
  • Knowledge of field service tooling and equipment 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills  
  • Ability to respond to unplanned situations and circumstances. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications. 
  • Experience with SAP preferred. 
  • Must be able to lift at least fifty pounds physically able to perform labor, prolonged periods of standing, bending, or kneeling to meet the requirement of working in the parts warehouse to put items on the shelf for storage.
