TransCore (TRN) is seeking a full-time Sr. Director of Software Engineering to join our team in Germantown, Maryland.

Summary: We are actively seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Software Engineering with a distinguished career in leading large-scale technical teams. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in the Transportation and Back Office Systems, showcasing a remarkable history of driving innovation, optimizing IT operations, and achieving strategic business objectives. • Strategic Leadership:
  
  
  • Lead and guide large technical teams in defining architecture, design, and development for electronic toll collection applications across diverse regions of the USA.
  • Drive the overall management and delivery of features and functions related to customer service management, transaction processing, and violation enforcement.
• Roadmap Definition:
  
  
  • Define the roadmap for the flagship product in electronic toll collection, ensuring integration of services based on industry needs.
  • Lead the development of interface specifications for data transfer in various electronic toll collection programs.
• Project Oversight:
  
  
  • Ensure the end-to-end delivery of programs adheres to schedule, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Act as a point of escalation for conflict resolution and address clients'
• Team Leadership:
  
  
  • Provide oversight to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation and adherence to best practices.
  • Map out migration strategies and lead implementation efforts for new features and change
• Communication and Collaboration:
  
  
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to align technology initiatives with overarching business objectives.

• Experience: Over 15 years in the Transportation and Road Usage Charging Back Office Systems industry. Skills:
