Stout's Valuation Advisory professionals help clients gain confidence by bringing clarity to the most complex valuation matters. As one of the largest independent valuation practices in the country, we provide specialized experience across a broad spectrum of industries.

Our Healthcare Valuation group is looking for a Vice President candidate for its Boca Raton, FL office. Candidate will initially be primarily involved in complex compensation and services arrangements, and may eventually participate on transaction advisory, and strategic consulting engagements.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for active involvement in all aspects of assigned client projects from initial client contact through development of written reports, including, but not limited to:

    • Establishing working relationships with client and client representatives.

    • Briefing Associates and Senior Associates assigned to client projects.

    • Managing completion of client projects to achieve quality, budget, and turnaround time goals.

    • Reviewing draft reports for conformance to quality standards.



  • Responsible for direct supervision and training (as needed) of employee(s).

  • Responsible for project analysis and development of reports, on an as-needed basis.

  • Responsible for representing the firm to potential clients.

  • Responsible for demonstrating competency through articles, webinars, and other forward-facing activities.

  • Responsible for proactively seeking new clients and active participation in the firm's marketing and business development activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry preferred, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws (Stark, Anti-Kickback, etc.), general understanding of reimbursement mechanisms (commercial payor programs, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.), and familiarity with basic medical terminology.

  • Proven advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.).

  • Strong written and project management skills.

  • Detail oriented.

  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and client-service focus.

  • Ability to provide mentoring, guidance, and support for assigned staff analysts.

  • Demonstrated success in analytical problem solving.

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, honor commitments, and multi-task.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with individuals at multiple levels of the organization.

Education and Training:


  • Four-year degree required, with an emphasis in Finance, Economics, Healthcare or Accounting

  • Post-graduate degree strongly preferred

  • A minimum of 5 years of previous full-time work experience in valuation, healthcare operations, or related fields

The range for this role considers several factors including but not limited to prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
