Job Description:

We are seeking a Part-Time Faculty Support Specialist for a well respected client of ours in Sacramento! This role is distinguished from the other Administrative Assistant positions by being regularly required to use computers as a principle basis to produce teaching and academic materials. Additional duties include answering telephones, distributing mail, organizing and proctoring exams.


Hours will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30-5pm with a 30 min lunch.

Responsibilities for Faculty Support Specialist:
* Formatting and preparing assessments, mid-terms and final exams; using Examsoft;
* ExamSoft - used to check in exams and notify students if an upload is needed after an exam has been taken.
* PrintX - used to print essays for professors to grade.
* Use of EMS to reserve rooms for faculty requests.
* Argos software, used to produce rosters and sign-in sheets for faculty.
* SeatGen, used to produce flashcards, tent cards and seating charts at the start of each semester.
* Ordering and maintaining stock of supplies for faculty and staff.
* LibGuides - used to upload syllabi every semester for students to access.
* Supplemental Books - format and print for delivery to the bookstore for students to purchase.
* FAMIS - online system to request assistance from other departments on campus, including Building and Grounds, custodial and general maintenance.
