Job Summary:
Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst with expertise in manufacturing operations to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and hands-on experience in the manufacturing sector. This role will provide critical financial analysis and insights to drive operational efficiency, cost control, and overall financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, labor expenses, and operational performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
* Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts, providing variance analysis and recommending corrective actions.
* Cost Accounting: Monitor and analyze cost structures, including raw materials, production overheads, and labor costs. Ensure accurate reporting of cost of goods sold (COGS).
* Profitability Analysis: Evaluate product line profitability, margins, and contribution to overall financial performance. Collaborate with the production team to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste.
* Inventory Management: Provide financial support for inventory analysis, including stock levels, turnover rates, and obsolescence. Partner with supply chain teams to manage working capital efficiently.
* Reporting: Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including operational KPIs, cost analysis, and performance metrics. Present findings to senior management.
* Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance financial controls, reporting accuracy, and overall efficiency in manufacturing operations.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, supply chain, and procurement teams to ensure financial strategies align with operational goals.
* Financial Modeling: Develop financial models to support decision-making on capital investments, cost-saving initiatives, and new product launches.


Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, with a strong focus on manufacturing.
* Proficiency in cost accounting, variance analysis, and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
* Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
* Familiarity with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Skills:
* CPA, CFA, or CMA certification (preferred but not required).
* Experience with lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
* Strong understanding of supply chain finance.
