TheCapital Hilton is looking for a talented Full-Time Front Desk Agent/ Night Auditorto join their Front Desk team! Located just blocks from the capital's best attractions, this property has 550 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets.

In this role, you will serve has a guest-facing Front Desk Agent and a Night Auditor, reporting directly to the Director of Front Office Operations.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, driven, detailed individual with excellent organization and time management skills. At least 1 year of Front Desk/ Night Auditor experience in a hotel environment is required. OnQ experience is required. Knowledge of other Hilton systems (Kipsu and HotSOS) is preferred.

Shift Pattern: Overnight Shift/ 11:00pm - 7:30am/ Full availability is required including weekends and holidays

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hourand is based on applicable and specialized experience and location (plus $1.00 overnight differential)

What will I be doing?

As Night Auditor, you will maintain the professional financial standards of the hotel by managing end-of-day reports, ensuring accuracy, and reporting anomalies. A Night Auditor must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Ensure the maintenance of professional financial standards throughout the hotel
  • Undertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reports
  • Edit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completion
  • Investigate any anomalies found between daily reports and takings
  • Train the Night Managers in ensuring the accurate completion of systems and processes
  • Assist the Night Manager in emergency situations

During third shift, this individual will be responsible for performing the below tasks to the highert standard:

  • Greets and registers guests
  • Provides prompt and courteous service
  • Checks guests out of the hotel
  • Resolves guest challenges throughout their stay in the hotel
  • Upgrades guests, and promotes hotel services and amenities
  • Completes the registration process, codes electronic keys, and makes appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs
  • Promotes and administers Marketing Programs for arriving guests
  • Ensures guest knows location of room, and arranges for team member to accompany guest to room
  • Provides welcome packet containing room keys, tokens of our appreciation, gifts, etc. to guest.
