Position Summary: | The Electrical and Computer Lab Manager manages the daily and long-term operations of the department’s teaching and research labs. The core responsibilities include providing technical support and guidance for teaching and research in these spaces, creating and enforcing experimental workflows, maintaining lab computer and electrical equipment and inventory, administering ECE computer servers, and establishing protocols for safe and effective space and equipment usage. The Lab Manager serves as the direct contact with the UNIT, University Facilities, and Environmental Health and Safety Departments. The Lab Manager directly supervises and trains lab technicians and student workers in the managed spaces. |
