Overview

SpinSytems is seeking a Technical Journeyman.



Responsibilities

  • Provide support to cyber team with focus on ongoing ATO activities.
  • Provides support and liaison between Cyber and project team requirements
  • Assists in the identification, reporting, and mitigation of CVE vulnerabilities
  • Assists with certificate renewals
  • Manages hardened containers.
  • Ensure CI/CD conforms to ATO requirements.
  • Supports STIGs, scanning and mitigation of findings.
  • Assists development teams in security within a containerized development workflow.
  • Supports documentation including architectural diagrams, hardware and software list maintenance, etc.


Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a similar science and engineering discipline

OR

  • 4+ years of work experience

Experience:

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps (DSO) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in federal context.
  • Familiarity with SW development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud platforms.
  • Cybersecurity with Gitlab Ultimate, Trivy, Fortify preferred.

Proficient In

  • Microsoft Office
  • Gitlab Ultimate
  • Trivy
  • Linux
  • Fortify preferred.

Certifications

  • Must be able to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of hire, if required.
  • Must be able to obtain an operating system certification within 90 days of hire, if required.
