Ledgent is currently partnering with a large, nationally recognized firm located in South Denver on a search for a Senior Accountant- Financial Reporting. This is a direct-hire position with excellent opportunity for growth with an industry leader!
Senior Accountant duties include:
Assists in preparing quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
Prepares corporate operational and financial reporting for management and external users
Gathers information for reporting requirements, including internal and external audits
Works closely with operating districts
Performs ad-hoc accounting for finance projects
Maintains process documentation for the accounting and finance department
Prepares audit materials
The ideal Senior Accountant will possess:
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Experience in an audit role in public accounting
2+ years of cummulative experience
CPA is a plus, but is not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
