Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCB assembly, rework, and repair.
Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in soldering techniques, including both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT).
The candidate will be responsible for performing rework and repair on printed circuit boards (PCBs) assembly to industry IPC standards. This role requires proficiency in circuit board soldering activities as well as holding IPC 7711/7721 Rework and Repair Certification
Job Description
• PCB Rework and Repair: Perform detailed rework and repair tasks on PCB assembly, including but not limited to, component removal and replacement, reflow processes, and trace/pad repair.
• Soldering: Execute precise and high-quality soldering activities on various PCB assemblies, ensuring compliance with IPC standards.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct visual inspection and testing of PCB assembly to detect and rectify defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of rework and repair activities, including documenting any changes, repairs, and test results.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with IPC standards and any other relevant industry standards and company protocols.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment and other tools used in the facility, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the quality assurance and engineering teams to diagnose issues, provide feedback for process improvements, and ensure all work meets specified guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues with PCB assemblies.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Manual Dexterity: Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination required for delicate soldering tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
