Job Description and Responsibilities



Honu Services is seeking an organized, efficient and detail-orientated Office Administrator to join our team. The Office Administrator will ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day activities within the office, providing clerical and administrative support to employees and management, and acting as the point of contact for employee and external partners. The role requires excellent communication and multitasking skills along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.



Location: On-site: Kailua, Hawaii



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Directs office activities and functions to maintain efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Provides clerical support such as answering phones, tending to voicemails, responding to emails, greeting visitors, retrieving, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointment, conference calls and including scheduling and preparing meeting materials.
  • Prepares agendas, makes travel arrangements, and maintains calendars for senior management.
  • Manages office vendors and company paid parking by scheduling recurring janitorial services, pest control, and administering and disturbing parking permits.
  • Maintains records, documentation, and files.
  • Oversees daily office operations to ensure safety, manage productivity and maintain morale. Maintains office supplies inventory; orders new supplies as needed.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills


  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excelling communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation Minimum: $45,000

Compensation Maximum: $60,000

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative role or office management.

Physical Requirements: Work may involve sitting for extended periods of time, typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have enough mobility. Including bending, reaching, kneeling to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner and may include lifting thirty (30) pounds, as necessary.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 annually
