The Senior Risk Management Analyst will support the Launch and Test Range Systems (LTRS) Integrated Support Contract (LISC) at Patrick Space Force Base in Florida, will work with risk stakeholders to manage risks and issues including identification, documentation, analysis, mitigation and closure of the risks. Understands the basic components of enterprise risk management, enters project related risk data into the risk database and updates existing data periodically, runs reports using MS Office and other tools, prepares metrics for presentation to leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Research, recommend, and facilitate the implementation of risk handling methods and techniques.
• Prepares risk assessments and risk metrics for presentation to leadership.
• Interacts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to compile risks create mitigation plans and overall promotion of successful/proactive risk management.
• Analysis of situations or data requiring knowledge of organizational objectives and policies.
• Categorize risks within cost, planning, schedule and performance criteria.
• Performs other duties, tasks, assignments, projects as required by management (including Deputy Risk Manager).
• Assist other employees with their tasks when absent (i.e. on vacation).
• Assist junior employees as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• This position requires a Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in the field of business administration, STEM, project management, risk management, or a related field.
• Must have 5+ years of recent and related work experience.
• In lieu of degree: Candidates with 9+ years of recent and related work experience will be considered.
• Ability to incorporate and combine information into various products.
• Ability to operate as part of a geographically disbursed team.
• Knowledge of project management or working within a project.

DESIRED:

• Active Risk Manager (ARM), Project Management, PMI Risk Management Professional (RMP) Certification, PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
• Knowledge of program management, supply chains, logistics, compliance and safety.

WORK LOCATION:

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Must be willing to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
• This position offers a 9/80 schedule, every other Friday off.
• This position may require some travel (car/air).

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:

All Bastion employees must be able to pass a national agency check, some positions require a clearance and will require an extensive background verification/check process.

DRUG AND ALCOHOL SCREENING REQUIRED:

All Bastion employees must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen; some contracts require participation in periodic random drug and alcohol screening programs.

• Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Must have a strong work ethic and must be safety culture oriented.
• Must be organized with good time management skills.
• Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time).
• May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
• Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.
• Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.
