RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AP Analyst in Clayton, MO.

Essential Job Functions:

• AP Analyst will assist Management with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required


• Prepare and review account summaries, reconciliations and results of operations, including identifying and developing strategies to reconcile, prioritize, and clear accounts using a risk-based approach


• Assist team members with root cause analysis for reconciling items


• Actively engage daily by providing guidance to other departments (customer service, sales, billing, tax, pricing, etc.) to communicate and address identified issues


• Assist in preparing analysis of financial accounts and account status and recommend risk mitigation as necessary for those accounts


• As an AP Analyst, you will generate reporting of bi-monthly performance results against set metrics


• Assist with process and procedures documentation, including suggesting continuous process improvement opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree required; Accounting, Finance, or related degree strongly preferred; Master's degree preferred


• Minimum 8 years of Finance or Accounting related experience, including supervision experience


• Direct working knowledge of the order to cash and procure to pay process flows


• Comprehensive knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis


• Proficiency with Microsoft Products is required (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)


• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to coach and guide a team towards the achievement of monthly KPIs


• Ability to recognize and resolve process problems; critical thinking and analytical skills required


• SAP experience preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
