RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a Global Boston, MA headquartered firm has a direct hire (perm) role for a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer. You will join an elite global team, contributing to cloud strategy, architecture, and operations. The Engineer will plan and support migration of application to the cloud, and DevOps methodology.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 6+ years of IT experience with BS Computer Science or Information Technology or related field


• AWS experience required; Experience with Azure a plus


• Experience managing AWS services in a multi-account environment, including Control Tower, Organizations, IAM, EC2, Lambda, SNS, S3, SSM, SQS, CloudWatch, and KMS


• Experience scripting


• Experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible


• Experience with Terragrunt


• Experience using tools like Sentinel


• Experience using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps


• Experience with e GitOps


• Experience with observability tooling


• Exposure to DevOps practices


• Experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes


• Solid understanding of complex global networking topologies and zero-trust firewalling practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
