RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Technology Manager in Doral, FL.

Summary:
This position is responsible for the design and implementation of policies, rules and systems that support the Company Financial Data Governance initiative. It is directly responsible for the technical infrastructure, compliance and security over applications carrying financial data and applicable access (including Finance cloud applications).

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for documenting and ensuring appropriate financial data access between all Company finance applications, systems, and user access


• Responsible for following up on all data quality management, data quality assurance, data governance and reporting excellence


• Manage, oversee, and develop the work on several onshore and offshore contractual resources and define a strategic plan for the department


• Ensure clear lines of responsibility, internal controls, and alignment with Company objectives


• Lead a team to organize, plan, and lead multiple efforts in any function or process as needed by Finance and work closely with the Financial Systems Leadership team consisting of 6 Managers and various departments including Oracle Financials, Inventory Systems, Payroll, Shipboard Financial Applications, Financial Analytics, Capital/Financial Planning, Revenue, and Corporate Legal applications


• Lead the design of the future strategic technology roadmap while providing guidance and support to Managers and Business Systems Analysts throughout the organization


• Develop strategy to create a roadmap for Financial Technology by reaching out and partnering with the business


• Work in conjunction with other teams within Finance, Purchasing, Corporate and Information Technology to insure cohesiveness with corporate goals and initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Information Systems, IT, Accounting, Finance, or related field of study; Or any combination of relevant background, skills, and experience


• Additional education/Certifications: Data Governance/Infrastructure preferred


• 10+ years of experience in a managerial role with background in finance, IT, data governance and infrastructure related to business/financial planning, analysis processes, including a working knowledge of accounting principles and issues; Project management experience preferred


• Must have practical experience testing enterprise size applications and conducting risk base analysis


• Experience managing business/financial planning and analysis processes


• Project management experience, including testing of enterprise size applications


• Working knowledge in accounting principles and issues


• Knowledge of infrastructure requirements, data governance and finance


• Strong understanding of financial data analysis tools and systems such as Oracle Financials, BI analytics, cloud and local data warehouses, etc.


• Critical, Professional related Technical Skills; Computer skills


• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, planning and problem-solving skills


• Able to multi-task, work independently and balance requests at peak workloads (or change gears quickly for important requests) from various departments and upper management


• Ability to manage time and engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously at a fast pace


• Ability to problem solve and excellent communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
