RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Denver, CO.

Summary:
Technology Services is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will function as a liaison between business users, functional subject matter experts, systems analysts, and technical developers. Typical responsibilities include working with the business to analyze processes (assessing current state and future state process flows), documenting process diagrams, requirements elicitation and documentation, performing system fit/gap analysis, providing input for design specifications, developing and overseeing request for proposals where technology is involved and participation in systems testing.

As a key member of Technology Services, you will be a part of a team that helps deliver a high degree of customer value via the innovations we're a part of. By doing so, you will be a crucial member in achieving our goal of always exceeding customer expectations. Projects specific to this role may include our Accela (permitting and licensing) program, Payment Services (Zuora, cashiering, consolidated billing), and/or Workday.

Duties:


  • The Senior BA will Act as principal liaison for business stakeholders and as a key point-of-contact to Technology Services, internal/external agencies, and vendors on their behalf

  • Partner with business stakeholders to identify problems/opportunities, assist in developing these into project/initiatives, and work within Technology Services to move these into the project pipeline

  • Prioritize and complete project backlog requests

  • Lead and organize UAT coordination with the end user team

  • Understand business processes and system capabilities for complex, integrated systems

  • Work with vendors to understand system intricacies and process needs to advocate for the best possible solution







REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 3 years of current, professional level experience in Business Analysis which should include at least two years of experience performing lead-level work for multi-sized projects, including:

  • Experience gathering requirements for, authoring, and coordinating responses with RFP documentation, as well as ensuring SOW documentation is completed accurately

  • Managing process analysis and improvement activities which impact multiple teams/departments

  • Identifying, recommending, and delivering recommendations which improve enterprise-wide systems

  • Performing technical process evaluation, analysis, along with recommending fixes for complex and highly integrated technology software system environments

  • Creating process and system diagrams for current and future system and process documentation

  • Delivering documentation converted for training or making course materials for end users

  • Creating process handoff and system integration diagrams for all related systems

  • Excellent team collaboration, delivering results with peers, customers, and vendors

  • Help technical and non-technical team members understand how/why process handoffs impact requirements, systems, and integrations between systems

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience across a broad spectrum of Technology solutions

  • ITIL/ITSM

  • Agile/Scrum (ScrumMaster and or Product Owner experience preferred)

  • Business Process Management (BPM)

  • Lean Six Sigma/Lean process development

  • Request for Proposal (RFP) process participation/coordination






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
