Position Summary:

Responsible for developing product requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Monitors the development of business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share. Identifies and solves bottlenecks limiting product success through product improvements, resolving commercialization hurdles, commercial training, or improving product marketing. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies and develops marketing tools for successful product introductions. Communicates customer feedback to engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments.

Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs and other related duties may be assigned.

Scope of Responsibilities:


  • Product Strategy and Vision - Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with the company's strategic objectives, focusing on b oth short-term wins and long-term growth.

  • Revenue Growth - Partner with sales, marketing, and customer support to develop and execute strategies that drive top-line revenue growth, including the introduction of new go-to- market plans, pricing strategies, and sales enablement material.

  • Market Expansion - Identify market opportunities and customer needs through direct engagement, competitive analysis, and market research.

  • Customer Engagement - Engage with customers, including industry leaders, research institutions, and healthcare providers, to gather insights and validate product concepts.

    Interact and partner externally with executive level management.



  • Enterprise Sales Expansion - Lead initiatives to expand our presence in the enterprise market, including developing go-to-market strategies, building relationships with key enterprise

    customers, and supporting the sales team in closing large deals.



  • Competitive Analysis - Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies. Use this knowledge to position our products effectively in the market and

    identify new growth opportunities.



  • Organizational Leadership - Mentor, develop, and lead a high-performing software product management and product marketing team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration,

    and continuous improvement. Direct the activities and budget of the organization.



  • Executive leadership - Provides input to executive leadership and promotes new ideas and innovative concepts using detailed knowledge of the company. Partner with across the

organization, including executive level leaders, to drive change and initiatives throughout the company.

Experience/Education:


  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 20 years of related experience, with 12+ years of Management experien ce. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth through successful product initiatives, particularly in the SaaS or enterprise software space.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams. Experience building and scaling product management organizations.

  • Proven ability to engage with customers at all levels, from end-users to C-suite executives, and translate their needs into successful product strategies.

The estimated base salary range for the Head of Software Product Management role based in the United States of America is: $220,500 - $330,700. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
