This is a REMOTE based opportunity, however our client will require that candidates reside in the greater Chicagoland area.
Job Title: Salesforce CRM Developer
Job Description: As a Salesforce CRM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing customizations, applications, extensions, and integrations. You will collaborate with a team of developers, product owners, and subject matter experts to translate business needs into effective and scalable products within the CRM. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and future of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate as a team member in the application development area.
Understand business functions to effectively participate in technical analysis, design, construction, and implementation.
Develop code solutions using a structured approach, ensuring long-term maintainability and quick accessibility.
Test coded solutions against customer acceptance criteria to ensure quality.
Document all application projects consistently and accurately, ensuring technical documentation is complete, understandable, and accessible.
Maintain productive working relationships with the user base of the product/service line and all relevant parties, both internal and external to IT.
Report status updates to project leadership, manager, and Director.
Enhance knowledge in new technologies for application in approved projects; participate in special projects as assigned.
Write or modify Apex code, including triggers and classes.
Develop or modify Apex code for Bulk Triggers, Asynchronous Apex (Future Methods, Queueable Apex, Batch Apex, Apex Scheduler), Web Services (SOAP and REST), and invoking Apex using JavaScript.
Manage Apex Transactions, Governor Limits, and Exception Management.
Utilize Salesforce standard features with Apex to deliver optimal solutions.
Develop or modify Visualforce pages, controllers, and components.
Integrate third-party systems like SAP and other web applications with Salesforce.com.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience with various operating environments, toolsets, and development methodologies.
Minimum of 3 years of experience with Java, J2EE/JavaEE, Web services, and SQL.
Extensive core Java/J2EE and multi-threaded development experience.
Preferred experience with SOA, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL, BPEL, ESP, and Oracle Database.
Understanding of RAD, SDLC, Client Server/Distributed Application Design and Development (UNIX, Client/Server, PC Development Tools, Internet/Intranet).
Ability to collaboratively identify potential solutions and effectively communicate benefits.
Understanding of business processes, project management/planning, and time management.
Effective communication skills with teams, peers, and clients.
Motivated and able to contribute to a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality performance.
At least three years of experience developing and designing object-oriented programs using Java, JavaScript, or Python (Java required).
5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com development.
6+ years of software development experience.
Experience with various web service and web development technologies, including JavaScript, XML, HTML5, Bootstrap, and JSON.
Platform Developer I and Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
