Job Description:

What you will do:

As our Manager, FP&A you will be responsible for driving the direction of Clarios’ short and long-term financial strategies. You will work to improve the organization's current and future position by analyzing market practices, trends, and competitive behavior, championing the use of advanced tools and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency. You'll have the opportunity to interact regularly with the Clarios Regional teams in helping to shape the five-year Strategic Plans. 

How you will do it:



  • Financial Forecasting and Planning



    • Support the development and coordination of the annual Strategic Plan financials.


    • Support the development and coordination of the Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Profit Plan process.


    • Coordinates the preparation and distribution of the annual Profit Plan packages.


    • Coordinates budget and forecast processes, and studies risks and opportunities including price and cost analysis.





  • Monthly & Quarterly Financial Reporting



    • Supports the process of monthly/quarterly consolidation of global financial results and associated financial reporting.


    • Analyzes financial results and provides analysis and insight to help senior management interpret and understand the financial results.


    • Supports the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date financial reports.





  • Special Projects



    • Identify opportunities to integrate advanced analytics and tools to improve the accuracy and reduce cycle times for forecasts and outlooks.


    • Supports the Cash Management Office, including preparing the weekly cash flow outlooks.


    • Supports the director in developing financial models to aid leadership in analysis of investment decisions and business alternatives including merger and acquisition analysis.


    • Provides general project support as needed.


    • Work closely with IT and data teams to leverage technology for financial modeling, reporting, and data visualization. 




What we look for:

Required


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

  • Min 8-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience..

  • Strong analytical skills, research capabilities and overall business acumen needed.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex matrixed organization while preserving the identity and clear objectives of the business.

Preferred


  • Master’s degree in business.

  • Public accounting and operational accounting experience.

  • Managerial experience of teams.
